
Catherine L. Patrick, CPA, MST
Cathy began her accounting career at Grant Thornton in Sacramento, CA. After she left Grant, Cathy became a founding partner of the firm. As Managing Partner, Cathy’s duties at the firm include its vision, personnel and marketing responsibilities.
Cathy specializes in tax and business consulting. Her areas of concentration include agribusiness, healthcare and all aspects of real estate. Though Cathy services clients of all sizes, she counts some of the most successful medical practices in the Sacramento Region as her clients. Additionally, her extensive experience in agribusiness has allowed her to serve many of the largest farmers in the Sacramento Valley.
Cathy has been a guest speaker for the radio talk show “Money Matters”, has applied her extensive background to the creation of business and tax curriculum for the Wells Fargo Business Banking division and has taught tax and accounting courses at the University of Phoenix.
A native of Sacramento, Cathy earned her way through college working at Macy*s Downtown, Sacramento, California. She was rapidly promoted, and in a few short years, was the youngest night and weekend store manager for Macy*s California. Cathy graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and received a Master of Science Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Ms. Patrick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA’s.

My first job was working at a local turkey hatchery. We made the cardboard boxes for the chicks to be transported and filled them 80 to the box if over 90 degrees and 100 if under.
